Wanda Marie Smith, 70

McMinnville resident and Tedders, Ky. native Wanda Marie Smith, 70, was born April 15, 1956 and died Nov. 1, 2026 at her son’s residence surrounded by her loving family.

A homemaker and member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Lester and Ruby Charlene Perry Cagle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Cagle, Theodore Cagle, and sister, Rhodessa Pinegar.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her loving husband of thirty years, Stanley Wayne Smith; children, Tina Childers, Jimmy Anthony (Sherry) Melson and Eric Dewayne (Angie) Melson, all of McMinnville; grandchildren, Tiffany (Josh) Martinez, Dustin Childers, Roy Parsley and Jadie (Skyler) Wanamaker; great-grandchildren, Saylor, Finley, Macey, McKinley, Ryker, Carson, Maggie, Silas, Marley, Kalina, CJ and Brandon; siblings, Rita (Karey) Kennedy, Debbie (Randy) Esmeyer; special sister, Sherry Cagle; special friends, Joyce Crowe, Sharon Crowe and Kenneth Johnson; special niece, Crystal (John) Hinkle as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2026 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church with family and friends officiating.
