Helen Vivian Sinks, 82

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Helen Vivian Sinks, 82, was born June 8, 1944 and died Oct. 31, 2026 at her residence following an extended illness. 

A retired nursery worker with JD Lentz Nursery and a member of the Baptist Faith, she was the daughter of the late Theopolis and Beatrice Rhea Green. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Sinks; sister, Phyllis Roller and brother, Jim Green. 

Mrs. Sinks is survived by children, Jeff (Heather) Hendrix of Winchester, Mark (Sandy) Hendrix of McMinnville and Amy Young of McMinnville; grandchildren, Logan (McKayla) Young, Dillon (Brandy) Young and Colton Young, all of McMinnville, Keeper Hendrix, Trenton McCoy and Madison McCoy, all of Winchester, as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Per her wishes, Mrs. Sinks will be cremated. 

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2026 at Spirit of Life & Hope, located at 90 Bridgebuilders Rd. McMinnville, TN 37110, with David Kilgore officiating. There will be no visitation at High's. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels.
