Morrison resident and Rutherford County native Deandre Marquis Osborn Jr., age 2, was born Dec. 29, 2023 and went to his heavenly home on Oct. 28, 2026 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital.

He was preceded in death by uncle, Brad Gibson; grandfather, Andre Osborne; great-grandfather, Richard Erickson and great-great-aunt, Bobbie Ann Pendlebury.

Deandre is survived by parents, Deandre Osborn and Jessica Gibson of Morrison; brothers and sisters, Elijah Gibson, Isaiah Gibson, Allie Gibson, Isaac Gibson, Gabbie Gibson, Bella Gibson, Kinsley Gibson, Kamiyah Gibson and Kailani Gibson; grandparents, Stuart and Carol Gibson and Paulette Lynch; great-grandmother, Sandra Ericson; uncles, John Gibson, Richard Gibson, Deshun Jackson, Equaris Clark, Paul Isom, Andrew Morris and Stormy Hicks; aunts, Shantina Lee-Carpenter, Angelica Bell, Betty Osborne and Andrea Osborne and many cousins.

Family and friends are invited to come together in love and prayer for a prayer vigil beginning at 6:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2026 at 310 South Mill Street, Apartment 100, Morrison. Those attending are asked to arrive at 5:30 p.m. and may bring a candle or balloon in Deandre’s memory. The family asks those attending to wear blue or red and, if bringing a balloon, to bring a black, red or blue balloon. Bluey and Spider-Man were among Deandre’s favorite characters.

Deandre will be cremated. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.

High Funeral Home and High’s Cremations, Inc. are in charge of arrangements.
