Christine Marie Cowans, 75

McMinnville resident and Syracuse, N.Y. native Christine Marie Cowans, 75, was born Sept. 5, 1951 and died Nov. 7, 2026 at Willow Branch Health and Rehab following an extended illness. 

A retired health care provider with Pacesetters and a member of the Catholic Church, she was the daughter of the late William George and Mary Elizabeth Shilz Cowans. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Mark and Tim Cowans; sister, Teresa Cowans; nephew, Caleb Sanders and niece, Carmen Cowans West. 

Ms. Cowans is survived by brother, Steve (Dorene) Cowans of Morrison; sister, Mary (Ken) Sanders of Denver, Col.; sister-in-law, Cathy Cowans of Overland Park, Kan.; special friends, Trina (Dennis) Duke and Darlina (Kenny) Huntley as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Per her wishes, Ms. Cowans will be cremated.
