The Main Street Journal's Community Calendar is presented FREE each Friday by our friends at Lassiter's Towing.

  • Registration is underway for the McMinnville Fall 2026 Co-Ed Adult Soccer League and will continue through Aug. 9 at the Milner Recreation Center. The league fee is $80 per player, and all participants will receive a player card. The season will feature seven games played on Saturday nights between August and October, with 25-minute halves.   • Registration is open for the McMinnville Youth Soccer Fall 2026 season through July 19. Late registration will be available July 20-26. The registration fee is $70 per child, with additional children in the same family discounted to $65 each. The league offers divisions ranging from U3/U4 through U15-U18. Age groups are determined by birth year, and players must be at least 3 years old by Aug. 29 to participate. Registration information is available through McMinnville Parks and Recreation and McMinnville Youth Soccer.
  • A motorcycle benefit ride supporting Tabitha Denney, who is battling a cardiac condition, will be held Saturday, June 27. Registration is $10 per rider, and kickstands are scheduled to go up at 10 a.m. from Three Star Mall at 1410 Sparta St. The event will include a scenic ride, raffles, a silent auction and additional entertainment. Automobiles are also welcome to participate. All proceeds will go toward Denney’s medical expenses.
  • A live auction and taco salad fundraiser benefiting Bentley Moore will be held Saturday, June 27, at Burritt College, located at 427 College St. in Spencer. The meal will begin at 3 p.m. and includes a taco salad, drink and dessert for $10. A live auction and raffle will begin at 5 p.m. Proceeds will help support Bentley’s medical needs as he battles metachromatic leukodystrophy (MLD), a rare genetic disorder affecting the nervous system.
  • Beacon Home Health will celebrate the grand opening of its McMinnville office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, June 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 417 N. Chancery St. The event will introduce the company's home health services to the community and provide an opportunity to meet the staff and learn more about the care they provide throughout Middle Tennessee.
  • The Audit Committee Meeting will take place on Monday, June 29 at 4 p.m. at the Warren County Administration Building on 201 Locust St.
  • The Opioid Abatement Meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 30 at 3:30 p.m. at the Warren County Administration Building on 201 Locust St.
  • The Town of Spencer will hold its Freedom Fest 250 event on Friday, July 3, at the Van Buren County Fairgrounds, located at 288 Spring St. in Spencer. Festivities begin at 4 p.m. and will include Splash Fest activities, food vendors and tours of the Heritage Museum. An opening ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m., featuring a concert by Cody McCarver. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display at 9 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
  • The Safety and Beer Committee Meeting will take place on Monday, July 6 at 4:30 p.m. at the Warren County Administration Building on 201 Locust St.
  • The Warren County Memorial Airport Meeting will take place on Monday, July 6 at 6 p.m. at 48 Airport Rd.
  • The Warren County Democratic Party will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, July 6 at 6 p.m. in the Magnolia Room of the Warren County Administrative Building on 201 Locust St.
  • The Warren County Health Department will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new facility on Thursday, July 9, at 2 p.m. at 1410 Sparta St. The public is invited to attend the ceremony, followed by an open house featuring facility tours, opportunities to meet staff, information about available health services and community partner resources.
  • The Warren County Republican Women will host an Ice Cream Social on Thursday, July 9, at 6 p.m. at the Farmers Market Pavilion, located at 100 Market St. in McMinnville. The event is open to the public and offers an opportunity for community members to gather and enjoy an evening of fellowship and refreshments.
  • The Warren County Animal Control Health & Welfare Committee Meeting will take place on Thursday, July 9 at 6 p.m. at 169 Paws Trl.
  • Families in Crisis will host a Sexual Assault Support Group Thursday, July 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 101 W Main St. The group offers survivors a safe space to receive support, take part in healing activities, increase self-esteem, and learn coping skills to empower them on their journey.
  • The Warren County Master Gardeners’ Association will meet Thursday, July 16 at 6 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the Warren County Administration Building at 201 Locust St. WCMGA meets the third Thursday of each month, gathering at the fairgrounds during summer months and at the Magnolia Room of the Warren County Administration Building during the rest of the year.   • Rose's Rolling Pin will host a bread-baking workshop on Saturday, July 18, in the Community Room at 110 S. Court Square in McMinnville. Three two-hour sessions will be offered from 9-11 a.m., 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 1-3 p.m. The cost is $55 with a $20 deposit required to reserve a spot.   • The Warren County Genealogical and Historical Association will hold its monthly meeting Saturday, July 18, at 2 p.m. in the Magnolia Room of the Warren County Administration Building, 201 Locust St. The meeting will feature a special salute to America's 250th birthday with a Revolutionary War-themed show-and-tell. Attendees are invited to share information about a Revolutionary War ancestor, wear period clothing or red, white and blue attire, and enjoy refreshments. Visitors are welcome.
  • Heavenly Closet Thrift Store is open Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 100 Market Street, adjacent to the Farmer’s Market. The organization’s soup kitchen is open Mondays and Fridays, from 11:30 a.m. until noon each day, at 218 E Main St. Proceeds from the thrift store fund the soup kitchen’s efforts. Volunteers and donations are always accepted. The group is part of the “Helping Hands” ministry.
