A White County man arrested last month after deputies alleged he discarded drugs during a traffic stop pleaded guilty Tuesday in General Sessions Court.

Stephen Rascoe Wilhite entered a plea to simple possession of methamphetamine and received an 11-month, 29-day sentence to be served on supervised probation. Court records also indicate an additional probation violation sentence was imposed as part of the resolution. The plea stems from a May 29 traffic stop that originally included charges of tampering with evidence, simple possession and reckless driving.

Several other defendants also resolved cases Tuesday, including a probation violation that resulted in jail time, domestic assault pleas and multiple drug-related cases.
