The digital program for the Candidate Forum: Contested Local Races on the August 6 Ballot has been released ahead of the event, which will be held Monday, July 13, at 6 p.m. at the Park Theater in downtown McMinnville.
Presented by Ben Lomand Connect, Main Street Media and WCPI, the forum will provide voters an opportunity to hear from candidates seeking local office ahead of the Aug. 6 election.
The digital program includes an overview of the event, candidate information, venue details, and guidelines for participating candidates. Additional event information will continue to be added and updated as it becomes available.
Candidates from several contested races are expected to participate, including the 31st Judicial District attorney general, county executive, county commission, sheriff, school board and constable races.
The event is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend to learn more about the candidates and the issues before casting their ballots.
