A woman arrested after deputies say she was driving through White County at night without headlights is now facing additional felony charges after investigators allege she smuggled drugs into the jail and attempted to destroy evidence once she was in custody.
Authorities say the investigation began with a reckless driving complaint but expanded hours later after the inmate became unresponsive and was transported from the White County Justice Center to Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital.
