McMinnville resident and Beersheba Springs native Edward Jesse "Rooster" Richardson, 71, was born November 17, 1953 and died November 8, 2025 at his residence following an extended illness.
A foundry worker for Powermatic and a member of Victory Free Will Baptist Church, he was the son of the late E. J. Richardson and Virginia Norris Farless. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Ann Thomas and brother, Mark Nunley. Rooster was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman.
Mr. Richardson is survived by sons, Jeremy (Leeann) Richardson, Cory (Tricia) Richardson and Marty Richardson; grandchildren, Coly (Tyler) Clendenon, Corey J. Richardson, Jaylyn Blaylock, Breanna (Chattum) Jennings, Hannah (Nathan) Jaco, Emily Richardson, Elijah Richardson, Emma Rutledge and Colton Richardson; four great-grandchildren; wife of forty years, Linda Richardson; several nieces, nephews and lifelong friends also survive.
Per his wishes, Mr. Richardson will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
