The action keeps heating up across Warren County’s 3–5 grade boys basketball league as teams gear up for the stretch run, and the latest week might have been the most thrilling yet.
Bobby Ray kept its hot streak alive with another impressive win, Dibrell showed its grit with a statement victory over Hickory Creek, and Morrison continued its surge with a balanced team performance Tuesday. Meanwhile, West battled through tight matchups as the standings begin to take shape with just a few weeks left before tournament time.
Every gym across the county had something to cheer about, from late-game drama to lights-out shooting, players continue to develop into reliable scorers and fierce defenders. The league’s energy remains unmatched, proving that Warren County’s next generation of hoopers are putting in the work and delivering big-time performances night after night.

Brantley Martin – Bobby Ray Stars
Martin provided the spark Bobby Ray needed, adding valuable points and veteran composure in a pair of dominant wins. His defense and floor spacing helped the Stars stay aggressive on both ends as they continued to climb in District 1.

Briggs Springer – Boyd Broncos
The Broncos were on fall break this week, but it hasn't slowed down their title aspirations. Springer will be a key cog for Boyd if it hopes to claim a D1 and county title next month. A sharpshooter who loves to set up in the corners and launch, Springer spaces the court well for the 6-1 Broncos.

Carson Dodd – Centertown Warriors
A reliable guard with strong instincts, Dodd steadies Centertown’s offense and makes the extra-effort plays that rarely show in the box score. His leadership continues to set the tone for the Warriors’ young roster that is ready to get back on the court next week after being off since the Oct. 2.
William Luna – Dibrell Wildcats
Like the rest of the athletic Wildcats, Luna knows his first job is rebound and defend. He did both well - and scored a timely bucket - in the Wildcats’ road win over Hickory Creek Thursday.

Jaxson Caldwell – Eastside Bulldogs
Caldwell and the Bulldogs are still in search of their first victory, but it hasn't stopped them from competing. Caldwell has shown a penchant for getting into paint and battling for boards for Eastside. He's also one of the team's most willing passers, able to set up teammates for scores.

John McCay – Hickory Creek Hawks
McCay made his mark this week by patrolling the paint, blocking shots and cleaning the glass for the Hawks. An emerging big man in the county league, McCary brought energy and size that fueled the Hawks in two hard-fought outings last week.

Ryan Yates – Irving College Tigers
Yates showed leadership and control in the Tigers’ battle with West, guiding the offense and scoring four points in one of his best games of the year. His development has been a bright spot for a young Irving College squad.

Beckham Frey – Morrison Eagles
Frey filled the stat sheet this week, adding scoring, rebounding and defensive grit in the Eagles’ matchups. He had a breakout, 10-point performance in a win over Eastside, helping the Eagles stay near the top of the D-2 standings.

AJ Hall – West Wizards
Hall provided scoring punch alongside Camden Chadwell, putting up 11 points against Irving College as he showed off the kind of size and sheer will in the paint that few can muster in the post in the elementary league. His emerging confidence gives West a valuable second scoring option as it looks to power its way into the D1 title conversation.
