A de-facto championship week brought out the best from every corner of Warren County’s elementary gyms. From Hickory Creek and Dibrell locking up regular-season crowns to Eastside’s dramatic overtime win, the final week of October had everything - packed bleachers, playoff-level energy and a few unforgettable performances.
With the regular season winding down, the league’s depth and balance continue to shine. Each team has a difference-maker who keeps them in games, whether it’s a scorer lighting up the scoreboard or a hustler doing the dirty work. As always, the Main Street Journal and its proud sponsors are recognizing this week’s standouts across all nine schools.

BOBBY RAY LADY STARS – Nyla Millraney
A steady scorer and fierce competitor, Millraney continues to lead by example for the Lady Stars. Whether she’s battling for rebounds or knocking down jumpers, her relentless effort helps set the tone for Bobby Ray each game.

BOYD LADY BRONCOS – Skylyn Wright
Wright was sensational in Tuesday’s win over Centertown and again in Thursday’s battle with Hickory Creek, where she nearly carried the Lady Broncos to a comeback victory. Her quick first step and relentless defense make her one of the most complete players in the league.

CENTERTOWN LADY WARRIORS – Camilla Lopez
Lopez gives the Lady Warriors a calming presence on the court. She played with poise and toughness in back-to-back games against Dibrell and Boyd, doing the little things that often don’t show up on the scoresheet but make a big impact.

DIBRELL LADY WILDCATS – Anna Kate Bryant
Bryant saved one of her best performances for the biggest night of the year, dropping 13 points in the title-clinching win over Centertown. With her shooting touch and leadership, she helped secure the District 2 championship for the Lady Wildcats.

EASTSIDE LADY BULLDOGS – Avery Kate Basham
Basham was one of Eastside’s catalysts in its thrilling overtime win over Morrison. She hit key shots down the stretch and continued to show her growing confidence as the Lady Bulldogs earned their first district victory of the season.

HICKORY CREEK LADY HAWKS – Karah Fish
Fish once again proved why she’s one of the league’s top players, anchoring Hickory Creek on both ends. Her steady presence helped the Lady Hawks race out early and hold off Boyd late to claim the District 1 title Thursday in the second of two colossal clashes between the best teams in the league.

IRVING COLLEGE LADY TIGERS – Hadlee Green
Green continues to bring intensity and leadership to the Lady Tigers. Her defensive hustle and determination in the paint have made her a consistent bright spot for Irving College all season.

MORRISON LADY EAGLES – Ellesyn Waldron
With leading scorer Kinsley Jones sidelined, Waldron stepped into the spotlight. She scored all seven of Morrison’s points against Eastside, showing her ability to shoulder the offensive load when her team needs it most.

WEST LADY WIZARDS – Kayleigh Redmon
Redmon made her presence felt in the paint, battling for rebounds and extra possessions in West’s win over Irving College. Her toughness inside and energy around the rim have been huge for the Lady Wizards down the stretch.
