As Main Street Live comes down the home stretch of its 22nd season at Security Federal Savings Bank's West Lawn, it will welcome the return of a band guaranteed to get the crowd on its feet.

The Band Entice will make its first Main Street Live appearance since 2023 Friday night. Armed with its wide-ranging set list covering many of the most popular songs of yesterday and today, Entice has a penchant for getting the Main Street Live crowd involved to a degree few other acts reach. Main Street McMinnville organizers are looking forward to a repeat of the good vibes when Entice returns Friday following last week's third annual Battle of the Bands at Main Street Live.

"The Battle of the Bands was a massive success, and the crowd really got into the friendly competition," Main Street McMinnville Executive Director Hannah Cowan Jones said. "Smoke in Mirrors, Sunset Tabernacle and Zeno's Ghost rocked the stage, and their fans loved being the judges with their votes. It was our best fundraising night at MSL by far.

"We are keeping that momentum going strong as we head into the final weeks of MSL. Entice has been to the MSL stage before, and we listen to our community when they ask for a band back. They are interactive with the crowd and people can expect to get their dancing shoes on again. The band has told me several times, 'There ain't no party like an Entice party!'"

Jones, in her first year as executive director, has been pleased with the public's response to the 22nd season of the free summer concert series and hopes that enthusiasm continues and grows during MSL's final three weeks.

"It has been really special to take the reins of Main Street Live this year," Jones said. "Seeing our community gather every week to show its support of Main Street McMinnville and enjoy the bands and vendors makes all the careful planning worth it. It takes a village of sponsors and volunteers to make this series happen, and I’m so proud of what has been built together this summer to keep every night free and fun for all. We are seeing so many people each week from out of town – even out of state. And that's the other reason we do MSL. We want to bring people from our own community to enjoy the heart of downtown, but we also help drive tourism to show off our great city."

Entice will start Friday's show at 7 p.m. while vendors will open at 6 p.m. Main Street Live is broadcast live each week on Star 107.7 FM.

Main Street Live is sponsored by Main Street Media, Security Federal Savings Bank, Bridgestone, McMinnville Electric System, Law Offices of Galligan & Newman, Warren County, City of McMinnville, Middle Tennessee Natural Gas Utility District, Hale & Hines Nursery, Citizens Tri-County Bank and Hoover & Son Insurance.
