Garry Brent Tubb, 50

McMinnville resident and Warren County, native Garry Brent Tubb, 50, was born May 5, 1975 and died July 7, 2025 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville following a brief illness.

An assistant store manager with Lowe’s Home Improvement and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of Debbie Tubb of McMinnville and the late Garry Tubb. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Bubba Steakley.

Brent was married to April Watson Tubb of McMinnville on June 10, 2025. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by children, Dylan Tubb (Lakelyn Cowans) of Manchester and Christopher Tubb of McMinnville; step-son, Aaron Fann of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Harbour Tubb, Ellorie Fann and Henley Fann; sister, Lori Steakley (Bradley) Hendrix of Smithville and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2025 in High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery on Highway 30 in Warren County. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at High’s.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Back to the Strip.
