McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Harold Thomas Solomon, 86, was born April 12, 1939 and died August 6, 2025 at his residence following an extended illness.

A former employee of BRC and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Sherman and Sadie Starkey Solomon. He was married to Magnolia Solomon who preceded him in death on November 27, 2020. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sons, Sherman and Clarence Solomon; brothers, Edward, Jake, Troy, Roy and Elzie B. Solomon; sisters, Mary Katherine Solomon and Joelene Solomon; step-son, Thurman William Crisp and step-daughter, Bernice Sanford.

Mr. Solomon is survived by son, Harold Alexander (Jacobia) Solomon of Mansfield, Texas; daughter, Annette (Robert) Martin of McMinnville; nine grandchildren, Akinde Solomon, Ayane Solomon, Antione Solomon, Lekshua Solomon, Neisha McReynolds, Tamika McReynolds, Tyron (Diamond) Wood, Cameron Lusk and LaShay Solomon; 12 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Rosie Solomon of Murfreesboro and Joyce Solomon of McMinnville; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Frances Brown, Fred Locke, Danny Smith and Anthony Biles and neighbors, Sam and Melissa McLoud.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Michael Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Old Philadelphia Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 p.m. until time of service at High’s.
