Jack Bruce Moore, 86

McMinnville resident and Hazard Co., Ky. native Jack Bruce Moore, 86, was born Aug. 20, 1939 and died Feb. 1, 2026 at his residence.

A United States Marine Corps GySgt, Retired, he was the son of the late Alec and Ethel Moore and was affiliated with Living Word Fellowship.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Sue Stollings Moore.  

Mr. Moore is survived by two children, Lisa (Jerry) Keel of McMinnville and Robert (Angelina) Charles of Manchester;  four grandchildren, Chaz (Whitlee) Stewart, Robert B. Charles, Christopher Stewart (Amanda) and Racheal Charles;  nine great-grandchildren, Strickland, Adelyn, Lliam, Cullen, Skylin, Whellen, Macllen, Ava and Leola Sue and sister, Barbara Patrick of Dallas, Texas.

A celebration of life will be held by family and friends at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026 at Living Word Fellowship with Pastor Jim Zlaten officiating.  Full military honors will be administered by the United States Marine Corps and the Marine Corps League, Bobby Ray Detachment at the church.
