Morrison, TN resident and Coffee County, TN native Judy Paulette Hoover, age 81, was born February 23, 1944 in the Shady Grove community and died May 26, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness.

A bus driver for 29 years and a farmer all of her life, she was a member of the Ivy Bluff Church of Christ and the daughter of the late Hughie and Alline Carroll Harrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Tommy Hewitt and son, Jason Hewitt.

Mrs. Hoover was married to Bobby Hoover on November 20, 2001 who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Brian (Kristy) Hewitt and Brent (Amy) Hewitt, both of Morrison, and Jeff (Greta) Hoover, Carolyn (David) Vandagriff and Stephen (Hilary) Hoover; grandchildren, Lucas Hewitt, Thomas Hewitt, Ezra Hewitt, Rhiannon (Jayden) Reno, Jordan (Sara) Hoover, Christy (Trinity) Solomon, Brandon Vandagriff and Levi Hoover; three great-grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Sue (Jim) Williams, Jo Ann (Bill) Young, Norman (Irene) Harrell, Carol (John) Sissom, Jane (Roy) Buttrum, Treva (Robert) Horton, Reba (Franklin) Hall, Mark (Barbara) Harrell, Brenda (Ken) Neal and Linda (Ken) Bradford.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Kenny Bradford and Brian Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Coffee County, TN. The family will receive visitors Tuesday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
