Latisha Michelle Jones, 39

Rock Island resident and Dekalb County native Latisha Michelle Jones, 39, was born Oct. 14, 1986 and died suddenly June 10, 2026 at her residence.

An employee of Walmart, she was the daughter of Phillip and Tina Jones of Rock Island. She was preceded in death by sister, Brandy Nichole King and grandparents, Stanley Fults and Albert Jones.

In addition to her parents, Latisha is survived by grandmothers, Sue Fults of Rock Island and Louise Turner of McMinnville; great-aunt, Patricia Wright; aunts and uncles, Debbie and Dwayne Dove, Kay and Ranse VanHooser, Regina and Bearl Kirby, Ammie and Jeremy Jones and Michael Jones; niece, Haley King and several cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 14, 2026 in High’s Chapel with Kendra Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Old Bybee Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Saturday from noon until 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
