Victoria Steelman Ministries presented a night of family friendly comedy and worship music at the Park Theater Saturday.

Billed as “Couples Night - Hallelujahs and Ha-Ha-Ha‘s,” the night kicked off with a personal testimony and songs from Grammy-nominated Christian recording artist Aaron Hymes. The Ohio-based singer/songwriter told of his path to Christ before eliciting oohs from the crowd with his powerful vocal stylings on several Christian country songs. Hymes wrapped up his set with the first public performance of his soon-to-be released song, “Martin and Me,” an ode to his guitar.

Christy Conder followed Hymes on stage. The Nashville-based comedian interacted with the crowd and drew peals of laughter throughout her set of clean comedy.

Wrapping up the evening was Christian country recording artist Victoria Steelman. Throughout her career, Steelman has amassed 43 award nominations across seven different organizations, including the Josie Music Awards and Prayze Factor Awards.

Last July, Steelman was named the International Country Gospel Music Association Gold Cross Female Vocalist of the Year and won Song of the Year for her hit “Hold The Line.“ Her single “Country Sinner“ reached No. 1 on the Christian Country Top 40, and her latest release, “When I Hear His Name,“ is currently sitting at No. 2 on the Singing News Faith Country Top 40. Last month Steelman was named Favorite Country Gospel Soloist at the Christian Voice Magazine Gospel Music Fan Awards.
