Marty Lynn York, 72

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Marty Lynn York, age 72, was born April 14, 1953 and died May 25, 2025 at Willow Branch in McMinnville following a short illness.

A tool and die designer for Cookeville Tool Mfg. and Tennessee Valley Design and a member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Alvin C. and Rosie Janie Odineal York. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jackie and Ronald York.

Mr. York is survived by his brother, Mike York of McMinnville, and his favorite pet, Lucky the dog.

Per his wishes, Mr. York will be cremated. There will be no services held at High’s.
