Mary Margaret Self, 75

Maryville resident and Warren County native Mary Margaret Self, 75, was born Oct. 5, 1949 and died Aug. 20, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness.

A retired office manager and member of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Brown and Mary Hillis Carr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Bobby, Gene, Frank and Larry Carr.

She was married to Jimmy Self of Maryville on May 10, 1968. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Self is survived by son, Kevin Self of Maryville; sisters, Charlene Carr and Darlene Carr, both of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Pastor Jim Cummings officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at High’s.
