As the Main Street Journal approaches its first Thanksgiving, there is a lot to be thankful for at Main Street Media.

Launching a new venture can be a little scary and there was no real way of knowing how this new media source would be received by the Warren County community. Launched on March 11, just 24 hours after a rather tumultuous day disrupted many decades-long careers, success was not guaranteed for the upstart looking to step into a recently created void to offer a new way of following Warren County news.

Thanks to thousands of you subscribing and to many local businesses coming on board as advertisers, the Journal is thriving beyond any of the founders’ wildest dreams. It is that support which is helping keep truly local coverage from local, experienced journalists alive.

To show thanks and to welcome even more readers aboard, the Journal is offering a very special deal for Thanksgiving week.

Beginning today (Monday, Nov. 24) and running through Small Business Saturday (Nov. 29) a one-year subscription to the Main Street Journal is only $63. That’s $14 less than the regular price of $77 and $21 less than the monthly rate of $7 per month–the equivalent of three free months.

Subscribing is simple: Just click here and follow the instructions. While this special offer is available online for anybody to sign themselves up through Saturday night, the Journal team is more than willing to personally assist you through the process if you’d like a little help or have any questions.

If you want access to a steady stream of local coverage from our award-winning staff of journalists, but you're anxious about having the technical dexterity to navigate the site, just give us a call at (931) 473-9253 or stop by our offices at 230 W. Colville St. during business hours, and we'll work with you to solve any problems you have signing up or accessing the site. Staff will be available Monday through Wednesday, and Seth Wright and Rob Nunley will be in the office on Black Friday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. to field your questions and help you get started.

Gift subscriptions to the MSJ are also available and make a great Christmas present for the family member or friend who may be disenchanted with the current state of traditional Warren County media.

The Main Street Journal staff wishes you and yours a very happy Thanksgiving and is thankful for your support.
