Ollis B. Loftis, 95

Ollis B. Loftis, 95, was born in Jackson County, Tenn. on Jan. 13, 1931. He passed away at home in McMinnville on Oct. 27, 2026 after an extended illness.

Ollis was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Mike Loftis and Clara Grace Hix Loftis; his sister, Willene (Truman) Fox; his brothers, Archival (Bea) Loftis and Ronald Loftis; and his granddaughters, Molly Elizabeth Loftis and Samantha Jane Loftis.

He is survived by his wife, Minnie Lois Whiteaker Loftis; his son and daughter-in-law, Randal Ollis and Jane Ann Loftis; his grandson, Zebediah J. Loftis; his granddaughters, Lila M. (Kaleb) Smith and Rebecca A. (Spencer) Fults; his great-grandsons, Callahan Henry Smith and Asa Oley Smith; his great-granddaughters, Cole Elizabeth Fults and Eleanor Dove Smith; and his brother, Gurvis Loftis, and sister-in-law, Geraldean Loftis.

Ollis was a member of Highway 56 Church of Christ in McMinnville, Tennessee.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026  from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the funeral will be held at 1 p.m. at Crest Lawn Funeral Home in Cookeville. Burial will follow.
