Phillip Earl Wimberly

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Phillip Earl Wimberly, age 77, was born Oct. 11, 1948, and died Jan. 28, 2026, following a sudden illness. 

A member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ and a retired employee of National Sheet Metal, he was the son of the late Edgar Earl and Zetta Bouldin Wimberly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Booth Swann Wimberly on Nov. 24, 2020.

Mr. Wimberly is survived by his sister, Jean (Stanley) Clendenon of McMinnville. 

Per his wishes, Mr. Wimberly will be cremated. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
