It’s official. Sparta has a whole new way for shoppers to spend their time in a local store. Rocky Pop Co. is offering the opportunity to “sip and shop” in their downtown showroom.
The local merchant, formerly known as Xceed Limitz, is expanding their well-known line of custom apparel and accessories to include custom drinks.
“I have long loved going shopping with my daughter and picking up a specialty coffee while she sips on a refresher,” Ashlee Redmond, owner of the upgraded designer shop, explained. “We wanted to bring that experience home to Sparta.”
Rocky Pop Co. now offers their own unique brew to offer both hot and cold coffee that can be made to order using one of their signature recipes or customized with any number of flavored syrups. There’s even a full line of blended drinks available.
Coffee not your thing? Rocky Pop Co. also offers refreshers in the form of Dirty Sodas, Lemonades, and Energy Drinks from Dirty Alanis to Red Bull to Lotus.
“We have some great signature drinks – all with a fun Tennessee-themed-twist – for you to try,” Redmond said, “but we also can’t wait to see what unique recipes our customers come up with as well.”
Redmond went on to say that while she is excited about the launch of the new drink station in Rocky Pop Co., she wants the community to know that their showroom full of local and faith-based apparel isn’t going anywhere. The same great clothing, bags, and accessories that have been available for years under the Xceed Limitz brand will still be available.
“Want to support Sparta and White County teams? We have something for you. Want to show off your Tennessee pride? We have that! Want to profess your faith or love for small-town life? You can find that in our showroom too,” she said.
In addition to pre-designed apparel, Rocky Pop Co. will continue to offer custom screen printing and embroidery services. Whether it’s company logos, a shirt for a special birthday, or matching outfits for a family get-a-way, Redmond and her staff will continue to strive to exceed expectations.
“Mark and Kathy Waclawik built a great business here. They worked hard to set the foundation for what we have today,” she said about the founders of Xceed Limitz. “We are proud to keep the family business going as they get to enjoy retirement. Of course, we are also having fun putting our own little ‘pop’ into it.”
Rocky Pop Co. Is currently open from 9am – 5pm Monday through Friday and from 10am until 2 pm on Saturday. However, hours will soon be expanded as Redmond is increasing her staff.
“We are going to be open from 6am until 6pm through the week,” she explained. “We are also going to offer curbside services. You will be able to order online, and we will bring your drink out to you.”
While the original idea was to offer customers the opportunity to sip while they shop, Redmond said that she hopes people fall in love with the coffees and refreshers at Rocky Pop Co and will want to stop by on their way to work in the morning or on their way to local sporting events in the afternoon or even to grab a pick-me-up on their way home after a long day.
So, whether customers come for the clothes, the coffee, or a little of both, Rocky Pop Co. is brewing up something new in downtown Sparta—proving that shopping local just got a whole lot more refreshing.
