The Sparta Youth Basketball league finished their season with tournament play on Saturday. There were the usual winners and a couple of upsets as well as the 2026 winter league came to an end.
The Rookie League saw Rocky Pop Co finish the year as tournament champions with Cameron Walker scoring 100 points over the course of the full season.


In Training League Girls, the season champion Delaney Logging team ended as the tournament runner up. Whitetail Property took home the tournament championship. During the boys' game, it was White County Sheriff Department coming off with the trophy.

In the Junior Leagues, Possitive Connection took the girls’ season championship and the tournament runner-up title. Robbie Porter’s Real Estate Collective, coached by Corey and Tia Johnson, went undefeated to take both the boys’ season and tournament championships home.


Buckeye Home Medical was the Senior Girls League season champion and finished as tournament runner up while American Roofing Company, who went 6-1 on the season, took the Tournament Trophy. For the Senior Boys, it was Center Hill Sports Marine taking both the season championship and the tournament trophy home as they went a perfect 12-0 while First Class Auto took the runner-up award.


American Roofing Company’s Kasidee Carter was awarded the Sportsmanship Player of the Year award in the girls league, and Austin Pionke was selected as the winner of the boy's Sportsmanshp Award.
