The White County Warriorettes kept their strong start to the season rolling Thursday night, picking up a 3-0 win over Cannon County at home.

White County got goals from sophomore Makayla Sullivan, freshman Livia Dobbs and junior Anna Joliff, spreading the scoring across three different players as the Warriorettes improved to 3-0 on the young season.

While the offense supplied the goals, White County’s back line helped make sure they were enough. With very limited opportunities to substitute on defense, three Warriorette defenders went the full 80 minutes as Cannon County struggled to generate quality chances.

The shutout followed wins over Monterey and York Institute and gave White County its third straight victory to open the season.

The Warriorettes will be back on their home field Tuesday when they host Jackson County.
