White County's flag football team wrapped up the regular season with a home game on Thursday night. It was also Senior night for the Warriorettes with Zoey Clemons, Katie Blakeman, and Addy Cocke being honored before the varsity game.

Sparta squared off with the Rockvale Lady Rockets who made the trip from Rutherford County. The Lady Rockets pitched a shutout in the JV game defeating White County 20-0, however the Varsity contest would tell a different story.

The Lady Rockets struck first going up 7-0. The Warriorettes would go on to score 12 unanswered thanks to Sara Winfree both rushing and passing for touchdowns. Alibeth Stebing was on the receiving end of that touchdown. Sparta's 12-7 lead wouldn't last long after Rockvale would score on the very next possession surging ahead 13-12.

The go ahead score would once again be on the feet of Sara Winfree after the QB would rush to the endzone for six. The Warriorettes would convert the extra point and seal the regular season finale with a 20-13 win.

The Warriorettes will host a playoff game on Monday as they welcome Shelbyville to Sparta. Radio coverage will be heard on 92.7 YERT FM.
