Seven high school bands converged on Orlando, Florida to be a part of the Pop Tarts Bowl halftime show. One of those bands was the White County High School Warrior Marching Band.  

Sparta’s award-winning band made the trip to Florida where they met up with the other bands just one day after Christmas. After a full day of practice, the newly assembled all-star version of a high school band marched onto the field at Camping World Stadium during halftime of the football game being played between the BYU Cougars and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.  

This is not the first time the White County High School Warrior Marching Band has combined with other schools to entertain a crowd. On Jan. 1, 2022, the Warriors traveled to Tampa, Florida to be a part of the Outback Bowl halftime show.  

While this year’s Pop Tarts Bowl was broadcast on ABC, the network cut away from the field to go to a commercial break and then provided first-half game analysis while the band was on the field.
