White County High School dominated Monday’s matchup against the Pickett County Bobcats, earning a 10–0 victory powered by steady hitting and a no-hit performance on the mound.

Preston Taylor led the offense with a perfect day at the plate, going 3-for-3. He doubled in the second inning and added singles in the fourth and fifth, helping fuel a Warriors lineup that consistently applied pressure.

On the mound, Thomas delivered a commanding performance. The right-hander struck out 13 batters and did not allow a single hit or walk through five innings, keeping the Bobcats off balance from the first pitch to the last.

White County broke the game open in the bottom of the second inning with a five-run surge. Clay Brewington and Lain Stone drew walks to put early pressure on Pickett County, but a double play briefly slowed the momentum. With pinch runner Casen Goodwin on third, Austin Pionke punched a sharp single into play to bring him home.

Kaden Seibers followed with another single, and aggression on the bases paid off when Pionke stole home. After Gentry drew a walk, Taylor ripped a double that scored both Seibers and Gentry. Another walk and an error extended the inning, and the Warriors carried a 5–0 lead back to the dugout.

White County added a run in the third, three more in the fourth, and another in the fifth to close out the win.

Pickett County’s Reagan took the loss, pitching four innings and allowing 10 runs—five of them earned—on eight hits while striking out three and walking six.

The Warriors return to action on Thursday when they host the Warren County Pioneers.
