PHOTOS: From 4-H projects to blue ribbons at the fair

There is plenty to see inside the Benton and Women’s buildings at the White County Fair — and plenty of ribbons hanging alongside it.

The Benton Building is filled with 4-H contest entries covering just about every interest. Agriculture, art, sewing, flowers, baking, canning, recycling and collections are among the many categories represented throughout the building.

There’s more than individual competition inside. Displays from each of White County’s six elementary schools, along with the middle school and high school, fill another part of the building.

Across the way, the Women’s Building gives adult exhibitors their chance to compete, with entries ranging from handmade pieces and artwork to flowers, baked goods, canned goods and more.
