PHOTOS: Bumps, bangs and a whole lot of dirt

Thursday night at the White County Fair brought plenty of action to the track with the Bump & Run and Half-Car races.

Drivers took to the dirt for a night that included plenty of bumps, spins and hard hits as they battled their way around the track. The Half-Car races added a different twist to the night, with some unusual-looking vehicles joining the action.

The racing was part of a busy Thursday night at the fairgrounds, which also included the Chain Saw Challenge, pro wrestling and a midway filled with the lights and sounds of the carnival.

MSJ–Sparta was trackside Thursday night to capture the action.
