What a difference 24 minutes can make

For the first 24 minutes Friday night, York Institute made White County work for everything it got.

The next 24 were a different story, as the Warriors turned a six-point halftime lead into a 53-21 win over the Dragons.

The Dragons took the opening kickoff and marched 80 yards, converting a fourth down along the way before a quarterback sneak gave York the first points of the night. More than five minutes had disappeared from the clock, and White County found itself trailing for the first time this season.

The Warriors' answer wasn't nearly as simple.
