White County is expected to receive roughly $400,000 per year in host fees following the opening of a new landfill cell and the addition of multiple regional waste contracts, according to an update delivered to county commissioners Monday.

Brandon said a contract secured with DeKalb County in July will soon transition to the site, along with waste hauled from a transfer station in Cumberland County.
