A White County man has received a six-year suspended sentence after pleading guilty in two assault-related cases stemming from incidents that occurred just months apart.

The defendant pleaded guilty to felony aggravated assault by strangulation and misdemeanor assault charges under a plea agreement approved by Judge Wesley Bray.
