The White County Middle School Warriorettes took a two-goal lead into halftime Tuesday night, but head coach Cameron Dronebarger wanted more from his team.

His message at the break was simple: clean it up.

The Warriorettes answered.

White County scored four more times in the second half, turning a 2-0 halftime advantage into a 6-0 shutout of Sequatchie County in the non-district matchup.

Ana Dronebarger led the Warriorettes with a hat trick, scoring three goals while also assisting on two others. Piper Green added two goals, and Isabella Duarte found the back of the net for White County’s other score.

The win moved the Warriorettes to 5-3 with just two games remaining in the regular season.

White County will be back home Friday to host Stone Memorial before wrapping up the regular season Monday against Prescott. The district tournament is scheduled to begin Sept. 18.
