Tuesday night brought another full slate of action to the White County Recreational Complex as teams across several divisions continued jockeying for position with the regular season beginning to wind toward the postseason stretch.

In Competitive T-Ball, Whites Disposal kept itself firmly in the mix near the top of the standings with a 14-7 victory over Warrior Wash. Whites Disposal improved to 5-3-1 overall while handing Warrior Wash its seventh loss of the season.

Foothills continued its strong season as well, outlasting The Way Church 12-10. The win pushed Foothills to 8-1 and extended its winning streak to four games, keeping pressure on division leader Doyle Church of the Nazarene. The Way Church dropped to 5-3 despite another competitive outing.

Parker Metal Supply added another dramatic finish to its season with an 11-10 win over Sparta Fireworks. Parker Metal Supply moved to 5-3 and has now won four of its last five games. Sparta Fireworks, meanwhile, remains in search of its first win of the year.

Coach Pitch featured a matchup between two of the division’s top teams, and Three Rivers made a statement with an 18-8 victory over Thompson Construction. Three Rivers improved to 7-3 and stretched its winning streak to three games while Thompson Construction fell to 7-3 after having entered the night tied near the top of the standings.

Piney Creek Lumber also stayed in the championship conversation with a 14-5 win over Del Toro Arms. Piney Creek improved to 6-2 and has now won three straight games. Del Toro Arms slipped to 4-6.

Minor Boys and Minor Girls teams were off Tuesday night and are scheduled to return to action Friday evening.

In Major Boys play, Ben Lomand picked up an 8-3 victory over Roberson Fencing. The win evened the teams in the standings with both now being 2-4. For Roberson, it was their fourth straight loss after opening the season 2-0 and looking like a strong contender.

Sonic continued its strong start to the season with a 7-5 win over Toro Nutrition. Sonic improved to 3-1 and extended its winning streak to four games, while Toro Nutrition fell to 1-2.

Major Girls action featured another important showdown between two of the division’s top teams as Calfkiller Brewing Co. defeated BCX Lazer Printing 6-3. Calfkiller remained unbeaten at 6-0 and extended its, while BCX fell to 4-2 but still has a firm hold on the second place slot.

Robbie Porter also earned a win Tuesday night, defeating MMG Truck & Trailer Repair 14-2. For Robbie Porter, it was their first win of the season while MMG dropped to 0-4.

With just a few weeks remaining before postseason tournaments begin, teams across every division are beginning to feel the importance of each night on the fields as races tighten and momentum starts to matter a little more with every game.
