Tuesday night brought another full slate of White County Youth Baseball and Softball League action to the Sparta Recreational Complex, with several division races continuing to take shape as the regular season moves closer to tournament play.
In Competitive T-Ball, Doyle Church of the Nazarene stayed perfect with a 20-5 win over Sparta Fireworks, improving to 10-0 and extending its winning streak to 10 games. Jaxito Burrito moved to 6-4 with a 15-10 win over Passons Underground, while Randy Wallace Insurance snapped through for a 15-11 win over Sparta Heating & Air Conditioning to improve to 3-7.

Minor Boys action saw Meeks Construction improve to 5-2 with a 10-7 win over Koala Insulation, which dropped to 1-7 and has now lost five straight. Turney Financial continued its climb with a 9-7 win over Nate Card Construction, moving to 4-1 and stretching its winning streak to three games.


In Major Boys, Whitson Lawncare remained unbeaten with an 11-5 win over Sonic. The victory moved Whitson to 4-0, while Sonic fell to 5-2 but remained near the top of the standings. Toro Nutrition also picked up a key win, defeating Spar Gas 10-7 to even its record at 2-2. Spar Gas dropped to 3-3 with its second straight loss.

Minor Girls play featured two important results near the top half of the standings. Franks stayed unbeaten at 7-0 with a 5-3 win over Reco, while Reco dropped to 4-2. Yert Nutrition kept its momentum going with a 7-3 win over Robbie Porter, improving to 5-2 and extending its winning streak to three games.

Major Girls teams did not play Tuesday night, while Coach Pitch Boys teams have completed regular season play and are now awaiting tournament brackets.
