Spencer resident and native, Willie Fred Pack, 87, was born December 20, 1937 and died October, 26, 2025 at NHC Sparta following an extended illness. A member of Cumberland Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, he was the owner of Packs Home Improvement, and the son of the late George M. And Mary L. Moore Pack. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Sarah Marie Starkey and brothers, George, Roy and Raymond Pack.
Mr. Pack was married on August 22, 1958 to Bertha Mae Fisher Pack, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Marty Wayne Pack of Pikeville, TN, Gina (Dan) Qualls and Anthony Pack, all of Spencer; grandchildren, Jennifer (Pete) Richards, Devon Qualls, Kristin (Justin) Lee, Justin (Natalya) Pack, Katelyn Myers, Austin Pack and Amber Pack; thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Lou Williamson of McMinnville, Rose Virginia (Bill) McReynolds of Johnson City and Audrey (Larry) Taylor of Spencer; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025 in High's Chapel with Tony Smedley officiating. Burial will follow at Long Cemetery in Van Buren County. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
