Main Street Live’s third week brought two things not seen during its initial two shows - a heaping helping of country music and a very small dose of precipitation.

The free summer concert series presented by Main Street McMinnville welcomed Sydney Adams for Friday night’s show, which was broadcast live on Star 107.3 FM.
The Kentucky-based artist delivered several original tunes as well as a few country covers. A smattering of sprinkles was not enough to disrupt the show which attracted a healthy crowd to Security Federal’s West Lawn.

Main Street Live is sponsored by Main Street Media, Security Federal Savings Bank, Bridgestone, McMinnville Electric System, Law Offices of Galligan & Newman, Warren County, City of McMinnville, Middle Tennessee Natural Gas Utility District, Hale & Hines Nursery, Citizens Tri-County Bank and Hoover & Son Insurance.

The eight-week free summer concert series takes a slight detour next week, exchanging the typical Friday-night venue at Security Federal for a special, Saturday-night show at Milner Recreation Center held in conjunction with the Freedom Fest Celebration sponsored by First National Bank of Middle Tennessee and Ben Lomand Connect. Performing will be the Joe Harvey Band with special guest August Lows, who will begin at 6 p.m. the Joe Harvey Band will start at 7 p.m. and play up until the 9 p.m. fireworks show.
In addition to the usual assortment of food trucks, a bit of buzz was created this week with the arrival of Chick-Fil-A of Manchester. The popular chicken chain will be at the remainder of the Main Street Live season with the exception of the July 4 show.
