A traffic stop that police say turned up alcohol, a handgun and a vape containing THC ended in a plea this week in White County General Sessions Court. The driver had initially faced five charges following the Aug. 18 stop, but four were dismissed as part of the resolution Tuesday.

A bond reduction request was denied Tuesday as the latest General Sessions docket brought pleas, dismissals and new court dates.
