- The annual Brick House/Rowland Station Cemetery Decoration will be held Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to noon at the cemetery’s location on Hennessee Bridge Rd. A business meeting will take place at 10 a.m. Donations will be accepted at the cemetery during the event hours or may be mailed to Brick House/Rowland Station Cemetery, c/o Darryl Norris, 725 Grandy Rd. - The Warren County 4-H Honor Club will host a Community Car Show on Saturday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to noon at Three Star Mall, located at 1410 Sparta St. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Warren County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Vehicle owners are invited to participate for a $15 donation per vehicle, while community members are encouraged to attend and view a variety of classic, custom and specialty vehicles on display.
- The second annual Cannon County Worship Fest will be held Saturday, June 6 beginning at 11 a.m. at Dillon Park, located on S Lehman St in Woodbury. The free community-wide event will feature live worship music, prayer and fellowship throughout the day, along with food vendors, bounce houses and free games for kids. Organizers invite the community to come together for a day of praise and fellowship while kicking off the summer season in the park.
- A benefit fundraiser for Larry Scott, who is battling gastric adenocarcinoma, will be held Saturday, June 6, at the Burritt College Building, located at 445 College St in Spencer. Activities begin at 3 p.m. and include a silent auction, cake walk, bingo and a barbecue meal fundraiser. Food will be served from 3-6 p.m. or until sold out. Plates are $10 and include barbecue, baked beans, chips, dessert and a drink. Proceeds will help cover Scott’s medical, travel and living expenses.
- A live Christian country music and worship/comedy event titled “Couples Night” will be held Saturday, June 6, at the Park Theater, located at 115 W Main St. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 6 p.m. The event will feature clean comedians Ed Wiley and Christy Conder along with Christian recording artists Victoria Steelman and Aaron Hymes. Tickets are $25 each, and organizers note the event is open to singles as well. Group discounts are available for parties of 20 or more.
- Mountain View Cemetery Decoration Day will be observed Sunday, June 7, at its location on Highway 30. Cemetery board members will be on-site Saturday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to accept donations, answer questions and provide information about burial plots. A free lunch featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, drinks and dessert will be served Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All are welcome to visit, decorate graves and honor loved ones.
- The Silver & Gold Band will present its “America 250th Concert” on Sunday, June 7, at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church on 403 N Spring St. The free one-hour performance will celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary through a musical journey across American history. The concert will feature selections representing the pre-Revolutionary period, the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, foreign immigration, World War II, jazz, rock and roll and patriotic music. Admission is free and open to the public.
- The Highway and Bridge Committee meeting will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9 at the Warren County Highway Dept on 1520 Old Smithville Rd.
- The Warren County Regional Planning Commission meeting will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9 at the Warren County Highway Dept on 1520 Old Smithville Rd.
- An informational session on Viking Cruises will be held Tuesday, June 9 at 6 p.m. at Westwood Church of Christ featuring Rebecca Aiken with Viking Cruise Line and Hannah Gribble with Key to the World Travel. Guests can learn more about Viking cruise opportunities, enjoy door prizes and receive a $100 per person shipboard credit when booking a Viking Cruise within 14 days of the event through Hannah Gribble.
- The Warren County Democratic Party will hold an Outreach Committee Meeting on Wednesday, June 10, from 6-7 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Warren County Administration Building, located at 201 Locust St. in McMinnville. Those interested in helping plan and organize party activities are encouraged to attend.
- The McMinnville - Warren County Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting for W Services Land Management & Excavation on Thursday, June 11 at 11:30 a.m. on 110 S Court Square.
- The Butcher on Main and Willy B’s Smokehouse will host a BBQ brisket smoking class on Thursday, June 11, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The Butcher on Main Lounge. Participants will learn how to choose a brisket, trim, prep and season meat, smoking techniques and proper cutting and serving methods. The class and meal cost $30. - The Warren County Republican Women will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, June 11, at 6 p.m. at Bushel and a Peck, located at 1110 Sparta St. The meeting will feature Congressional candidate Tom Davis, independent District Attorney candidates Matt Colvard, Randal Gilliam and Lisa Zavogiannis, as well as District 1 School Board candidate Monti Hillis. Community members interested in hearing from local and regional candidates are invited to attend.
- The Warren County Lions Club will host its 15th annual two-person scramble charity golf tournament in memory of PCC Bob Davenport on Saturday, June 13 at WillowBrook Golf Club on 6751 McMinnville Hwy in Manchester. Lunch will be served at noon with a 1 p.m. tee time. Entry is $100 per player and includes lunch, two mulligans and two red tees. Proceeds will support local service projects throughout the community. - Lucky C.I.C. will host a candidate meet and greet on Saturday, June 13 beginning at 4 p.m. at 8406 Lucky Rd. The event will include an auction and a meal, with all proceeds benefiting improvements to the Lucky C.I.C. park. Community members will also have an opportunity to meet and speak with local candidates during the gathering.
- The Van Buren Farm Bureau will host its Annual Customer Appreciation Dinner on Saturday, June 13, at the Van Buren UT Extension Office, located at 288 Spring St in Spencer. Dinner will be served from 4-6 p.m. Farm Bureau members and customers planning to attend are asked to RSVP by June 5 by calling 931-946-2288.
- The Warren County Commission Meeting will take place on Monday, June 15 at 6 p.m. at the Warren County Administration Building on 201 Locust St.
- CASA of the Tennessee Valley will host its Denim & Diamonds fundraiser on Thursday, June 18, at River Cliff Event Venue in Spencer. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the evening will feature dinner, auctions and live entertainment from Tainted Hills. The event will raise funds to support CASA’s work serving children in White and Van Buren counties. Attendees are encouraged to wear their best denim-and-diamonds attire. - Families in Crisis will host a Sexual Assault Support Group Thursday, June 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 101 W Main St. The group offers survivors a safe space to receive support, take part in healing activities, increase self-esteem, and learn coping skills to empower them on their journey.
- The Warren County Master Gardeners’ Association will meet Thursday, June 18 at 6 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the Warren County Administration Building at 201 Locust St. WCMGA meets the third Thursday of each month, gathering at the fairgrounds during summer months and at the Magnolia Room of the Warren County Administration Building during the rest of the year. - The Warren County Republican Party will host a “Happy Birthday America” celebration on Thursday, June 18, at 6 p.m. in the Early Voting Room at the Warren County Administrative Building, 201 Locust St. Community members are invited to attend the gathering as part of an Independence Day-themed celebration.
- The second annual MYP Golf Tournament “Fore The Families” will be held Friday, June 19, at McMinnville Country Club. Registration and lunch begin at 11 a.m. The four-person team entry fee is $400 and includes lunch, with prizes to be awarded. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Families in Crisis, supporting individuals and families affected by domestic violence. To register a team, contact the Chamber of Commerce at 931-473-6611.
- The Warren Masonic Lodge will hold its annual pancake, sausage and fruit breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, June 20, from 7-10 a.m. at the lodge, located at 308 E Main St. Tickets are $10 each and include an all-you-can-eat breakfast with a drink. Proceeds will benefit charitable causes including the Widows and Orphans Fund, Shriners, Special Games, local scholarships and other programs serving children and families in need.
- The Van Buren Chamber of Commerce will kick off its 2026 Farmers Market season on Saturday, June 20, from 7 a.m.-12 p.m. at 500 College St in Spencer. Visitors can shop for fresh produce, baked goods, handmade items and other locally produced products while supporting area farmers and vendors. Door prizes will also be offered throughout the event. - The Warren County Democratic Party will host "Dems & Doughnuts" on Saturday, June 20, from 9-10:30 a.m. at J’s Restaurant, located in Three-Star Mall at 1410 Sparta St. The event will serve as an informal breakfast gathering for Democrats and community members interested in meeting and visiting with others in a relaxed setting.
- Young Men United will host its Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Warren County Fairgrounds, located at 194 Fairgrounds Rd. The event will feature live entertainment, family activities, children’s games, food, a car show and a beauty pageant throughout the day.
- Morrison Church of Christ will host a community meal on Saturday, June 20, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m at its location on 201 S Main St. Organizers will serve hamburgers and hot dogs, and everyone is invited to attend. The event is free and open to the public.
- The Warren County Genealogical and Historical Association will meet on Saturday, June 20 at 2 p.m. in the Magnolia Room of the Warren County Administration Building at 201 Locust St. This month’s program will feature Lucas Holt, who will present information on Wilfer Leon Green, a soldier who served during the Vietnam War. Holt is a dedicated historical researcher and will share insights and research surrounding Green and related historical events. Visitors are welcome to attend.
- 2026 Summer Tennis Camps will be held at the Milner Recreation Center/David Dunlap Tennis Complex in McMinnville on June 22–25 and July 27–30. Camps are open to ages 6–15 with sessions in the morning; cost is $100. Participants can call 931-273-3435 for details.
- Applications for the 2026 Farmers Market Senior Nutrition Program will be accepted Tuesday, June 23, and Tuesday, June 30, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Warren County Farmers’ Market. The application process will be drive-thru only, and no appointment is necessary. The program provides $40 in vouchers for use on fresh produce at the Warren County Farmers’ Market between July 1 and Sept. 15, 2026. Applicants must be Warren County residents, age 60 or older and meet income guidelines. Participants should bring proof of residency, identification and income documentation. - A motorcycle benefit ride supporting Tabitha Denney, who is battling a cardiac condition, will be held Saturday, June 27. Registration is $10 per rider, and kickstands are scheduled to go up at 10 a.m. from Three Star Mall at 1410 Sparta St. The event will include a scenic ride, raffles, a silent auction and additional entertainment. Automobiles are also welcome to participate. All proceeds will go toward Denney’s medical expenses.
- A live auction and taco salad fundraiser benefiting Bentley Moore will be held Saturday, June 27, at Burritt College, located at 427 College St. in Spencer. The meal will begin at 3 p.m. and includes a taco salad, drink and dessert for $10. A live auction and raffle will begin at 5 p.m. Proceeds will help support Bentley’s medical needs as he battles metachromatic leukodystrophy (MLD), a rare genetic disorder affecting the nervous system.
- The Town of Spencer will hold its Freedom Fest 250 event on Friday, July 3, at the Van Buren County Fairgrounds, located at 288 Spring St. in Spencer. Festivities begin at 4 p.m. and will include Splash Fest activities, food vendors and tours of the Heritage Museum. An opening ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m., featuring a concert by Cody McCarver. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display at 9 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
- The Warren County Republican Women will host an Ice Cream Social on Thursday, July 9, at 6 p.m. at the Farmers Market Pavilion, located at 100 Market St. in McMinnville. The event is open to the public and offers an opportunity for community members to gather and enjoy an evening of fellowship and refreshments.
- Heavenly Closet Thrift Store is open Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 100 Market Street, adjacent to the Farmer’s Market. The organization’s soup kitchen is open Mondays and Fridays, from 11:30 a.m. until noon each day, at 218 E. Main St. Proceeds from the thrift store fund the soup kitchen’s efforts. Volunteers and donations are always accepted. The group is part of the “Helping Hands” ministry.
