A night of clean humor and Christian music will be on the bill Saturday, June 6 at the Park Theater.

Victoria Steelman Ministries will present "Couples Night: Hallelujahs & Hahahas." Spearheaded by Christian recording artist Victoria Steelman, the event will also feature clean comedy from Ed Wiley and Christy Conder as well as music from Christian recording artist Aaron Hymes. The show is designed to uplift believers and welcome nonbelievers as well. While billed as a couples night out, singles are welcome as well.

Steelman appeared on WOW Country's The Justin Reed Show Wednesday, June 3 to talk about her inspiration for creating the show. She also offered a special ticket deal for Reed's listeners and Main Street Journal readers.

"I sing Christian country music, but first and foremost I do women's ministry," Steelman said. "I have ministered for years at women's conferences. We like to call it 'hard and holy,' and I am here to minister to whoever the Lord has me minister to. When He birthed the idea for a worship and comedy night, our original one was called 'Ladies Night Out.' So, we launched that and it has been very successful, but we have found the husbands and the men of the churches come and stand at the back of the room. When we booked the event at the Park Theater, we wanted to open the doors to the guys as well. I wasn't sure what to call it. I like to call it 'Not-Just-For-Couples Couples Night Out.' The boys are welcome. The Park Theater is so beautiful, and we can't wait to be with everyone there."

General admission tickets are $25 plus tax and are available at the Park Theater website or at the door starting at 5:30 p.m. before the 6 p.m. show. The show is scheduled to end at 8 p.m.

"If you purchase a ticket and let my girls at the door know you heard my interview on The Justin Reed Show, you can bring a friend for free. We do a buy-one-get-one for our first responders and our military men and women, but I also wanted to do one for your listeners," Steelman told Reed. "So many times it's hard to get people we love to come to church, but this event is going to be really fun and it's a great way to share the love of Jesus with them through some incredible Christian country and worship music and comedy. I promise you you're going to belly laugh."
