For the first time in forever the Park Theater will be transformed into Arendelle for the Warren Arts production of “Disney’s Frozen - The Musical” live on stage this weekend.
The Disney classic will be brought to life by a primarily adult cast presenting a local adaptation of the full Broadway musical. The production is a passion project for Kennette Dixon who is co-directing the show along with Mark Pyburn.
“I picked the show because ’Frozen’ is my favorite,” Dixon said. “My girls grew up on it and I just love it. The music is great. It’s just the best show ever.”

Making up the cast are Maggie Rogers as Young Anna, Blakey Martin as Young Elsa, Yvonne Hendrix as Queen Iduna, Kenny Johnson as King Annan, Colin Totherow as Pabbie, Josee Lopez as Bulda, Allie Morton as Anna, Beth Ann Swallows as Elsa, Evan Dyer as Lord Weselton, Tyler Morton as Prince Hans, Walker Beaty as Kristoff on Friday and Sunday, Hayden Watts as Keistoff on Saturday, Jude McNeal as Sven, McKenna Proffitt as Olaf on Friday and Sunday, Karigan Smith as Olaf on Saturday, Evan Dyer as Oaken and Lyla Collier and Norah McNeal as handmaidens. Rounding out the ensemble are Danielle Reynolds, Amanda Collier, Casey Haley, Lincoln Bates, Jacobi Scales, Avonlea Bates, Camilla Lopez, Adeline Collier, Ashoka Yadar, Cooper He six, Ronan Dyer, Adriana Villafuerte, Anslee Crick, Cadence Reynolds, Chelsea Knowles, Finn Killian, James Walters, Kaydence Walling, Kaydence Wiser, Kennedy Gibbs, Kinsley Knowles, Madelyn Ford, Mattie Allen, Nicholas Locke, Nova Hammond, Parker Knowles, Sofia Flores and Tenney Alford.

The large cast has been hard at work for months and is eager for the community to witness the fruits of its labors.
“Auditions were in August and we’ve been working on it since probably the middle of August, taking off time for the fair and homecoming and fall break but this cast has worked really hard,” Dixon said. “I am so proud of the show. This is one of the most talented casts that we’ve ever had. The music is phenomenal and the set is the largest one that I personally have ever had and it looks amazing. Our set crew has done such an outstanding job with such a complicated set. We have lots of first timers in this show, and I think people are going to be surprised by it. It’s a show you don’t want to miss.”
Bringing the elaborate set and effects to the Park stage required a cast of its own. Members of the crew include Justin Proffitt, Sara Nuckols, Allie Morton, Tyler Morton, McKenna Proffitt and Kenny Johnson on set design, Carson McNeal and Holly McNeal as Sven creators, Joe Harvey and Anslee Crick on lighting, Kathy Elam and Sara Nuckols on costuming, Christian McHenry on sound, Abby Dixon and Olivia Stefanick on choreography and producer Melissa Pyburn.

The production is sponsored by Silver Scissors, USA Chiropractic, A Plus Fasteners, Scooter’s, Painted Barn Media and Knowles Private Wealth.
“We are excited that Warren Arts is bringing this next-level production to our stage to help us really get the Park Theater’s winter season started,” Park Theater Assistant Manager Ashley Gillentine Wright said. “Everyone involved - from the actors to the tech crew to the folks working behind the scenes on the set, costumes and puppets - has put so much time, talent and love into this show. We hope everyone is able to make it to one of the four opportunities to enjoy this musical and support Warren Arts this weekend.”
