- The Warren County Genealogical and Historical Association will meet Saturday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. in the Early Voting Room of the Warren County Administrative Building, 201 Locust St. Warren County historian Jimmy Haley will present a program on Revolutionary War patriot Dr. Joseph Warren, along with Joseph McMinn, Lt. James Sheppard and the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The public is invited to attend.
- The McMinnville-Warren County Chamber of Commerce Community Connections Golf Classic will be held Monday, Sept. 21, at 616 Country Club Dr. The event costs $425 per team, which includes lunch, red tee and mulligans. Prizes will be awarded to winners, along with contests for straightest drive and closest to the pin. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. - The Warren County Commission Full Court meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21 at the Warren County Administration Building on 201 Locust St.
- Warren County Meals on Wheels will host its "Spinning Our Wheels for Meals" fundraiser Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the Bridgestone Learning Center Outdoor Pavilion, 725 Bridgestone Dr in Morrison. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m. The evening will feature a live band, live and silent auctions, volunteer recognition and a Hall of Fame induction. Individual seating is $100, with gold and silver sponsorships also available. Proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels. For more information, call 931-473-3514.
- American Legion Post 173 will hold an official flag retirement ceremony Thursday, Sept. 24, beginning at 5 p.m. at Pavilion 2 at Rock Island State Park, 82 Beach Rd. The public is invited to attend, and food and drinks will be provided free of charge.
- Friends of Century, Gould, MagneTek and A.O. Smith will hold a reunion Saturday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Medley’s Diner, 7783 Manchester Hwy in Morrison. Attendees are encouraged to bring pictures and memorabilia, with games and cash and prize drawings planned. Everyone is welcome to come and go throughout the event, with each attendee responsible for purchasing their own food.
- The McMinnville-Warren County Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting for Graceland Portable Buildings and Sheds of Morrison on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 11:30 a.m. at 131 C Swift Ln in Morrison.
- The annual Autumn Street Fair will be held Saturday, Oct. 3, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Main Street in downtown McMinnville. Presented by Leadership McMinnville, the event will feature food, fellowship and shopping throughout the day.
- The 22nd annual Heritage Day will be held Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 6774 Rocky River Rd in Rock Island. The free family event will feature live music, a cruise-in, wagon and stagecoach rides, blacksmithing, woodcarving, moonshine still and hit-and-miss engine demonstrations, fishing stories, a tribute to veterans and more. Food and treats will also be available, including barbecue plate meals, homemade ice cream, fried pies and fudge. For more information, call 931-473-7884.
- The Warren County Democratic Party will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, Oct. 5, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Magnolia Room of the Warren County Administrative Building, 201 Locust St.
- The Warren County Memorial Airport meeting will take place on Monday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. at its location on 48 Airport Dr.
- The McMinnville-Warren County Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting for The Hut on Friday, Oct. 9, at 11:30 a.m. at 1100 Smithville Hwy, Suite 110.
- Upper Cumberland Cards will return to Warren County High School’s Charlie Dalton Gymnasium for its monthly card show Saturday, Oct. 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Held on the second Saturday of each month, the show features approximately 100 tables filled with sports and Pokémon cards, memorabilia and other collectibles, including toys and comics. Proceeds from the event benefit WCHS athletics.
- The McMinnville Children’s Museum will hold a meet and greet Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 11:30 a.m. in the McMinnville-Warren County Chamber of Commerce Community Room, 110 S. Court Sq. The event will give community members an opportunity to learn more about the McMinnville Children’s Museum.
- The Warren County Republican Party will host its annual Ben Nixon Memorial Chili Cook-Off on Thursday, Oct. 15, at the Westwood Church of Christ Gymnasium on 511 Morrison St. Doors open to contestants at 5 p.m. and the public at 5:30 p.m., with judging beginning at 6 p.m. Admission is $10 per person. Contestants will compete in Traditional Chili, Nontraditional Chili and Wild Card categories for $100 prizes, with attendees also selecting a $100 People's Choice winner. The evening will also include presentation of the Ben Nixon Memorial Award to the 2025-26 Warren County Republican of the Year. - A sexual assault support group will meet Thursday, Oct. 15, from 6-8 p.m. at Families in Crisis, 101 W Main St. Survivors are invited to a supportive group focused on healing, building self-esteem and developing coping skills in a safe, welcoming environment. - The Warren County Master Gardeners' Association will meet Thursday, Oct. 15, from 6-8 p.m. in the Magnolia Room of the Warren County Administrative Building, 201 Locust St. Anyone who has completed the Master Gardener course is eligible to join. - The Rock Island Community Center will host a Fall Harvest Festival and Hayride on Saturday, Oct. 24, beginning at 5 p.m. at 2886 Pine Bluff Rd. The family-friendly event will feature a hayride, games, caramel apples, funnel cakes and hot dogs.
- Heavenly Closet Thrift Store is open Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 100 Market St, adjacent to the Farmer’s Market. The organization’s soup kitchen is open Mondays and Fridays, from 11:30 a.m. until noon each day, at 218 E Main St. Proceeds from the thrift store fund the soup kitchen’s efforts. Volunteers and donations are always accepted. The group is part of the “Helping Hands” ministry.
