Dorothy "Dot" Nell Burch, 92

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Dorothy "Dot" Nell Burch, 92, was born Jan. 3, 1934 and died May 3, 2026 at Willow Branch in McMinnville following an extended illness. 

A former employee with Century/Magnetek and a member of Charles Creek Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Emma Hawkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Doris Moore; sisters, Mamie Pedigo, Lucille Turner, Olivia Boyd, Ruby Williamson and brother, C. J. Hawkins. 

Ms. Burch is survived by her former spouse, James Burch of McMinnville; children, David (Devonna) Burch and Corkey (Greta) Burch, all of McMinnville; grandchildren, Eric (Dessa) Burch, B.J. (Renee) Burch, Kristy (Brad) Myers, Candace (Brandon) Taylor, Shelby (Chase) Judkins and Sarah (Christyan) Garcia; great-grandchildren, Jaymeson, Erica, Shelbey, Brayton, Bryce, Gentry, Autry and Callan; great-great-granddaughter, Brystoll; sister, June Moore and several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside service and interment will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Charles Creek Cemetery with Rex Boles officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at High's.
