Douglas Gray Turner, 77

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Douglas Gray Turner, 77, was born Feb. 1, 1949 and died Sept. 23, 2026 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN following a brief illness.

A retired fork truck driver with Carrier, a lifelong farmer and a member of Earleyville Church of Christ, he was the son of the late John Firm and Nora Mae Griffin Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Eugene, Wayne, Bud and Charles Turner and sisters, Earlene Nicks, Hazel Stevens, Janie Cantrell, Joyce Griffith and Anita Brown.

He was married to Patsy Ann Turner of McMinnville, TN on July 11, 1969. In addition to his wife, Mr. Turner is survived by sons, Kip (Kim) Turner of Liberty, TN and Chad (Jennifer) Turner of McMinnville, TN; daughter, Melissa (Jason) Montandon of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Zackery Turner, Keisha Turner, Elijah Turner, Hannah Songer, McCall Turner, Marlie Gibbs and Sloan Montandon; great-grandchildren, Elaina Turner, Allie Cook, Walker Turner and Canyon Gibbs; sister, Karen Mathis; sisters-in-law, Linda Turner, Carolyn Turner, Frances Winfrey, Patsy Greene and brother-in-law, Felix Greene.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026 at Earleyville Church of Christ with Dan Jones, Alan Northcutt and Jennifer Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Woods Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at High's and Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Broadcasting Network.
