My name is Erick Dildine, and I’m running for County Commissioner - District 2 because this is home.

I’m a lifelong member of this community, blessed with an amazing wife Ryan and our three wonderful kids, two boys and a girl. My parents are Rick and Dana Dildine, Our family is deeply rooted here, and we are faithful members of Golden Mountain Ministries. My roles as a husband, dad, and man of faith shape how I approach service and leadership every day.

I believe strong families are the foundation of a strong White County. I’ve seen firsthand what makes our town special — neighbors helping neighbors, churches and schools shaping our kids, and families working hard to build a good life here.

I’m running because I believe local government should serve families first. Every decision should be measured by one simple question: Does this help the families of District 2 and White County?

I hold strong conservative values and believe in limited government, personal responsibility, and protecting the freedoms that make our community strong. As a fiscal conservative, I believe our town should live within its means and that taxpayers deserve responsible, disciplined leadership.

If elected, I promise to:
• Listen first and lead with integrity
• Be present and accessible to the people I serve
• Protect taxpayers by opposing unnecessary tax increases and wasteful spending
• Support policies that strengthen families, protect seniors, and help working households thrive

This campaign is about more than a seat on a board. It’s about making sure our community remains safe, affordable, and strong for every family.

District 2 Roots, White County-Wide Care.
