Thrilling rides, great food, sweet treats and fun times – they’re all staples of the Warren County A&L Fair.
And the Main Street Journal is proud to add another tradition to the mix – a special one-year subscription rate, redeemable any time during the fair, beginning Friday, Sept. 11 and continuing through Saturday night, Sept. 19.
During that period, a one-year subscription can be purchased for just $70, a savings from the regular annual subscription price of $77 and $14 less than a year at the regular monthly rate.
“We had a great response to this last year, and we wanted to bring it back,” Main Street Journal Editor-in-Chief Rob Nunley said. “Basically, you pay for 10 months and you get twelve. We’re grateful every day for all of our subscribers, and we wanted to express that gratitude again with this special price. And, since Seth (Wright) and I will be at the fair pretty much every minute it’s open greeting and thanking our readers, we figured it would be an appropriate time to have the subscription special because if someone wants to subscribe but has any technical trouble, just grab one of us and we’ll help you out.”
A subscription provides access to the Main Street Journal's coverage of Warren County news, local government, courts, schools, sports, business, community events and more throughout the year.
“We have a lot of fun, but make no mistake – this is our job,” Nunley said. “This is how we pay our bills, and it takes people like our sponsors and subscribers to make that happen. We tell people every day if they want extensive local coverage of news, sports, entertainment, government and everything else that interests people in our community, you can’t go wrong with an MSJ subscription.”
The $70 rate will be available only during the nine-day promotion, ending Sept. 19. Readers can subscribe online through the Main Street Journal subscription portal. The special applies to a full one-year subscription; the regular $7 per month rate is also available.
