A beloved McMinnville event returns for its 22nd year of summer fun at Security Federal Savings Bank's West Lawn Friday, June 12, starting with a hometown favorite.

The 2026 season of Main Street Live, a free summer concert series presented by Main Street McMinnville, will start Friday at 7 p.m. with local group the T.C. Bryant Band. Comprised of Timmy Bryant, Trent and Shelli Young, Rob McCormick, Jared Denton, Marty Denton and Clark Bourque, the band is no stranger to Main Street Live. The group was scheduled to kick off last year's season before rain forced a cancellation. T.C. Bryant member Trent Young is hoping history does not repeat itself.

"We hope the weather holds out," Young said. "It rained us out last year, but Main Street McMinnville got it approved and instead of being the opening band, we ended up being the closing band. I think this is our fourth year at Main Street Live. It's just amazing. For people to have confidence in us and love us as much as they do, it just means the world to us. Any time we can play in our hometown is just awesome. It seems every year we keep adding friends who come back to see us. They all tell us we play good music, but they enjoy us because they can tell we're having fun up there."

The band plays a wide variety of music ensuring almost everyone will find something they like.

"We play a mixture," Young said. "People who have never heard us will often come up after the show and say what they liked best was that we don't play just one genre. We play a little of everything from country to southern rock to blues. We're going to do all covers Friday. We usually try to put one or two originals in, but we've decided this time we are going to stick with covers and give the people what they want."

Making her Main Street Live debut in her new role will be Main Street McMinnville Executive Director Hannah Cowan Jones who was appointed to the job in April.

"As the new executive director, jumping straight into planning this beloved summer tradition has been the perfect way to connect with our community and learn the ropes of my new role," Jones said. "Main Street McMinnville is all about supporting local, and you’ll see this at Main Street Live, from the bands and vendors to our sound, light and video truck crew. We’re partnering with local nonprofits to sell water this season, and you’ll see great options for food and desserts from vendors also.

"This Friday, we are incredibly excited to welcome the T.C. Bryant Band to the stage. They are a local favorite and consistently one of our most requested acts. We love supporting local talent, and whether you love country, rock or soul, our lineup this year truly has something for everyone. This event is a massive team effort that wouldn't happen without our incredible sponsors, volunteers and the Park Theater, which generously serves as our backup venue i case of rain on our June 19 and July 31 dates."

Friday's concert will be just the start of a busy weekend for Jones and Main Street McMinnville as the group's Second Saturday event is scheduled for downtown June 13. Running from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, downtown businesses will stay open late and singer/songwriter K.C. Cope will perform at The Lot on Court Square.

The eight-concert Main Street Live series continues with Saved by the Music, June 19; Sydney Adams, June 26; the Joe Harvey Band with opener August Lows (winner of last year's Battle of the Bands) Saturday, July 4 at Milner Recreation Center; Battle of the Bands, July 10; Entice, July 17; Rae Radick, July 24; and Knights of Queen, July 31.

Main Street Live is sponsored by Main Street Media, Security Federal Savings Bank, Bridgestone, McMinnville Electric System, Law Offices of Galligan & Newman, Warren County, City of McMinnville, Middle Tennessee Natural Gas Utility District, Hale & Hines Nursery, Citizens Tri-County Bank and Hoover & Son Insurance. Vendors will open at 6 p.m. preceding the 7 p.m. concert.

To keep attendees safe, a portion of the left lane of W. Main St. will be closed to vehicle traffic Friday night. If weather concerns force a postponement, that information will be provided to the Main Street Journal by midday Friday.
