Noelle Bratcher put an exclamation point on Warren County’s regular season with a first-half hat trick in Tuesday’s 5-0 victory over border rival White County in Sparta, earning the junior midfielder the Main Street Journal’s Reddick Brown Ford WCHS Athlete of the Week award for Oct. 4-10.

The performance helped Warren County close the regular season with a sixth consecutive victory, improving to 12-2-1 overall and sending the Lady Pioneers into the District 9-3A tournament playing some of their best soccer of the year.

Bratcher wasted little time making her presence felt once Warren County began finding opportunities against the Lady Warriors.

Her first goal came courtesy of senior Addison Steakley, who connected with Bratcher for a shot that put the Lady Pioneers ahead. Gisell Escamilla helped create the second, finding Bratcher near the top of the 18-yard box before the junior finished another opportunity to double the advantage.

The combination of Steakley and Bratcher struck again before halftime, with Steakley recording her second assist of the night as Bratcher completed the hat trick and sent Warren County into the break holding a 3-0 lead.

Bratcher's three goals pushed her season total to nine, moving her into the team lead in scoring. It was also her second hat trick of the season, following a three-goal performance in Warren County's 3-1 District 9-3A victory over Lincoln County on Aug. 27.

While Bratcher accounted for all three first-half goals, her teammates continued adding to the advantage after halftime. Izzy Rodriguez and Escamilla each found the net as Warren County completed the 5-0 shutout.

The victory capped a six-match winning streak that began Sept. 21 against Spring Hill, with the Lady Pioneers outscoring their opponents 20-3 during that stretch.

Bratcher has played an important role throughout Warren County's successful regular season, providing consistent production in the attacking midfield while helping the Lady Pioneers secure the No. 2 seed in the District 9-3A tournament.

Her latest performance also marks her second Athlete of the Week selection this season, having previously earned the honor for the week of Aug. 23-29 after totaling four goals and an assist across victories over Smyrna and Lincoln County.

With the postseason approaching this week, Bratcher's ability to deliver in key moments could become even more important as Warren County looks to extend its season.
